Album
"Future World" is the second album by the Danish hard rock and heavy metal band Pretty Maids, released by CBS in 1987. By 1990, it had sold approximately 300,000 copies worldwide and reached number 165 on the Billboard 200 in the United States. The album was initially produced by Eddie Kramer, who was dismissed during the recording sessions after reportedly falling asleep at the mixing console, according to guitarist Ken Hammer. The album was completed with engineer Chris Isca, who is credited as co-producer. Mixing was handled by Flemming Rasmussen, known for his work with Metallica, Rainbow and Morbid Angel, and Kevin Elson, who produced multiplatinum albums for Journey, Mr. Big and Europe. Angel Schleifer of the German band Bonfire joined Pretty Maids for the 1987β88 tour but did not perform on the album.
