Following a pair of self-released EP’s, ‘Future Tense’ is AM Aesthetic’s first full-length album. Although their sound is clearly steeped in alt-rock, AM Aesthetic have made it their ambition to drag this genre screaming and yelping into 2014. With the aid of some wonderfully inventive song-construction and imaginative production wizardry, ‘Future Tense’ manages to further destroy the line between meaningful rock and pop. Songs such as ‘Weightless’ and ‘Ghosts In The Machine’ take the concept of the epic rock song and transport them to unidentifiable sound planets, invisible to the naked ear.
