Released in 1998, "From Downtown" was a 7 song album put out by NJ based ska band One Cool Guy. OCG's ska style moves between ska-rap, ska-core, ska-jazz, and punk-ska. The album includes Xample, the band's "straightedge hardcore" song as well Bill Kozby, the band's signature song. The album, like their debut record, was released on Pinball Records, an independent local punk-ska label. OCG existed between 1997 and 1999, during those three years they played primarily in the NY/NJ tri-state area. "From Downtown" was their longest release following their debut 7' record entitled "7 Inches of OCG".
