3024 returns after a brief hiatus with a brand new EP feverishly exploring the amalgamation of percussive techno and the bass continuum, courtesy of one of New York's freshest producers right now, Zoey Shopmaker aka Sister Zo. The restless and continuous movement of sounds, styles and tempos is a common thread in Zoey's music. Vocal snippets, bass lines and percussive patterns constantly seem to collide yet also complement each other like freakishly shifting tectonic plates. This gives tracks like "Jump In (Freak Shift)" and "Afraid 2 Make A Move" an incredible energy which will certainly translate to instant dancefloor mayhem. While "Ledge" explores a more cerebral space, "Earth Mover" is the statement track of this excellent EP, a sign of things to come from this amazingly versatile musician & DJ! Enjoy!
