Album
Frailty is the debut album by American producer and singer-songwriter Jane Remover, released via deadAir records on November 12, 2021, just 8 months after her EP, Teen Week. About the album, Jane stated; "I'm finally making the music I wanted to make since I was 9". Inspired by the likes of Porter Robinson and Skrillex, as well as samples of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, Pokémon Black and White, and Undertale throughout, Jane has also stated that her "biggest inspirations as of today are my friends". As Grant Sharples of Paste explains, Jane's influences are "scattered throughout, but remains Jane's show first and foremost". Frailty was met with critical acclaim, and was reviewed by some of the biggest music reviewing platforms and people alike, such as Anthony Fantano (theneedledrop) and Pitchfork, both of which put Frailty on their "Best Albums of 2021" lists. 301 Locust St, Wakita, Oklahoma is the address of the house on the album cover.
