Amelia’s sophomore album is named Forwards, meaning the movement of moving forward as the journey continues. Forwards represents Amelia’s journey from rural Nova Scotia to urban university life this fall, and features tunes and sets she often played at local shows as a memory of her roots. The new album features a mixture of traditional and modern fiddle tunes, along with a couple vocal songs, with accompaniment from Kimberly and Skip Holmes, Troy MacGillivray, Sandra DeCoste, Ray Stewart, and Dave Gunning.
