Foggy Lullaby is the third release by Arc Iris, capturing in the studio their live performance project reimagining the album Blue by Joni Mitchell. All tracks are either rearrangements of the original songs, played in a different order to the original album, and stitched together with interstitial compositions featuring samples of Mitchell speaking in interviews. Clearing copyright for such a large volume of material, for a small indie band reliant on crowdfunding and without mega-label support, compounded by the upgrading of the vinyl release from LP to a double-LP considerably delayed the release.
