Feathertouch is a 64 minute album of ambient, softly flowing New Age music suitable for massage therapy, reiki, yoga practice, meditation and quieting the mind. The feather in the title relates to the idea in meditation that you treat your swirling thoughts like a feather that's floating through the air: you acknowledge it and let it float on by. The instrument sounds are all ambient sounds. Some of them sound like strings but there is nothing that is going to distract the listener from the yoga, massage, meditation etc. that he is engaged in. No sudden changes in tempo or volume, no sudden changes in mood or style. The keys used by the composer are the keys of the chakras and the music moves slowly through the seven keys from C through B to open the chakras one at a time for a most relaxing and soothing listening experience.
