"Feather that Burns" was released in 2011, and was written, recorded, and produced by Jason Cavener and Mark Brendan Walker (CaveWalker). It is a collection of lyrically driven songs by two veteran songwriters and long time friends. Its mood ranges from the sentimental, to the comedic, to the avant-garde. Song styles range from folk, accapella, rock, spoken-word, all the way to children's music. However, across this wide range of moods there is always a solid singer/songwriter feel and respect for the lyrics.
