Accompanied by Chuck Rainey on bass guitar and Bernard "Pretty" Purdie on drums, Fairyland is the recording of Larry Coryell's performance at the 1970 Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. Interesting to note is the Coryell tells the audience different names for the songs than what official appears on the track listing.
