Ethernaut is a 2003 album by The Crüxshadows, a gothic/electronic, "Dark Wave" band from Jacksonville, Florida. The album, considered a "concept disc," was the band's fifth. According to Rogue, lead singer and songwriter for the band, the songs on Ethernaut are meant to be an allegory for the fall of Troy. Rogue believes the Trojans to be the "good guys" of the story, and wrote Ethernaut to tell the story from the Trojan side, with a focus on the emotions of the Trojans.
