-From Single of the Day I don’t turn down desserts, however, when cooking for my own meals I tend not to make any desserts. All that is likely to change now. While some desserts may take some time to create, it’s great how they can make you feel afterwards to top off a meal. Thinking of sweet, I’ve come across an artist called Terio. More like he was brought to my attention, but does it really matter now? He’s got the whole dual language thing happening. Think of a latin pop thing that feels like it’s got more soul than a Ricky Martin and you’ll have what I’m talking about. Songs like desserts need the right combination of ingredients for them to work. When you get it just right then it becomes something beyond ordinary. Terio is reaching for that something beyond ordinary and doing a darn fine job of getting it. I’m digging the mixture of his vocals blending with some cool drum loops and some string samples that all flow with this mysterious air that hints at a great love that is almost within grasp.
