Eternal Embers is Meltt’s second album. Building on their previous sound with more synthesizers and electronics, it retains the psych-rock core of their previous style with watery guitars and falsetto vocals. Lyrically, it tackles themes such as love and death, using symbolism of fire and water to represent a cycle of death and rebirth. The second half of the album details the grief of losing a loved one, and the process of learning to accept that through the idea of this cycle.
