‘equinox’, is Daniel Wave’s first EP. Recorded over four years, it is a time capsule of the songs he wrote during his adolescence, revised in the year 2025. The project includes his first-ever singles, “dream again”, “solstice”, and “strangers on a train”, which he released in 2021 when he was only fifteen. It also features “reverie”, a mid-tempo ballad he released in the summer of 2022. Each track, both old and new, prevails as it was originally recorded, showcasing an imperfect evolution of his artistry through time. His youthful untrained vocals and his current singing intertwine back and forth. The production swells with naïveté in the older songs, and a more laid-back approach in the most recently recorded.
