Embryonic was the first full-length demo album created by Chiasm and self-released in 1998. This album led to the signing of Chiasm to COP International Records in 1999, and the appearance of the first Chiasm track on their label, "Chiasm 1.0" as featured on the "Diva X Machina vol. 3" compilation album.
