"elevenandtwelve" is the second full length album by nisei23. Recorded over a period of 2 years in locations as varied as Kansa and Texas, USA. Bangkok, Thailand. North Wales, UK and South Korea, including an impromptu recording session on a subway train (Animus Anima) and finally mixed in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The album is a departure from the debut "Soft Shapes" which took acoustic elements and morphed them into organic electronics. "elevenandtwelve" keeps the acoustic instruments but also adds sequencers and synthesizers to add a harder edge. Netlabelism said "The nice thing about ‘elevenandtwelve’ is that it isn’t just a proof-of-concept release. These pieces float through your listening space with ease, with an air of effortlessness that might lead even non-musicians to think they could achieve the same thing.
