Elektromuze is an 8 song techno electronica record. It contains not only midi driven programmed synthesizer and rhythm parts but standard guitar parts as well. An ebow was used on some of the songs. Additionally a Roland GR20 was used on the final track to produce the rhythm drums and the air infused bamboo synth sounds. Much of the record was written using Acid Pro and simple expirementation with an old Korg Poly 61 synthesizer and a Kurzweil K2000VP with an orchestral rom block add on. This was written as a specific departure from Ron Imhoff's other records which are predominantly contemporary instrumental (chill and somewhat new age) or instrumental rock. A second Elektromuze record is in production now (Elektromuze Volume 2) with a hopeful target completion date in late 2010.
