Anger, rage and devastation are all that will remain in the mind. And this is much heavier than all the silver and gold brought back from raids. When those with whom you shared battles, shelter and food perish; those for whom you sought wealth and land for a new, better life; then the only thing left to live for is a glorious end. Worthy of the memory of other people, the gaze of the only god whose name is whispered before the battle and shouted in its heat. There are no more aspirations, except for the burning vengeance of a broken heart. There is nothing but the desire to prove with your death that you deserve to sit at the same table with the gods, so that the living will call you EINHERJAR.
