Album
Eidolon is the 2nd full length album by 4-piece Seattle Progressive Rock band Rishloo. Released in May of 2007, this release takes a significant step forward from their debut album: “Terras Fames”, which most commonly drew comparisons to Tool. Eidolon balances out significantly darker, ethereal undertones with plenty of uplifting moments that would become a signature in the Rishloo sound later to come. This album also marks the debut of Jesse Smith as the drummer for Rishloo, and the drums are noticeably tighter and more intricate than on Terras Fames. The second track: “Freaks and Animals” remains the only Rishloo track to have a music video. Lineup: Drew Mailloux - Vocals Dave Gillett - Guitar Sean Ryndquist - Bass Jesse Smith - Drums User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
