"Under The Spire continue their string of amazing releases with a release by Dead Pilot'er Ekca Liena. Here Dan presents an EP focusing on his drone sound. The two 15 minute pieces are entitled "The More I Cut From One" and "The More I Add To Another", so they are almost one track split into two equal sections. Dan's drone sound here is slowly paced, tension building and deep. It's neither dark nor heavy, but it carries a slight sense of uncertainty, perhaps even dread, but then as the pieces progress, light shines through with a hazey glory. The aural equivalent of a sunrise perhaps. The pieces are really quite moving in their sustained crescendos.
