"Driving at Night On The Highway" begins with an acoustic piece (also titled "Driving at Night On The Highway"), which features surreal lyrics matched with a finger-picked guitar line, sung and performed by Jesse Statman. The next two songs change the pace of everything, while maintaining an overall balance. "Laws Of Physics" has two slide guitars, and a guitar that sounds kind of like an acoustic bass. It also maintains a balance between creepy and heartfelt in its lyrics, while still managing to be a love song. "Let's Scare Kids On Halloween (Stop Feeling Sorry For Me)" is a driving rock song, with acoustic and electric guitars. The album goes on to include "My Love Is Away", the first song Jesse ever wrote, and "Think Outside The Box", a nine-minute instrumental which finishes up the album.
