Featuring the raw, visceral songwriting talent of former RCA Recording Artist Jake Mai, Olivine got a head start by catching the attention of Warner Brothers A&R/Multi-Platinum Producer John Feldmann (Neon Trees, The Cab, Good Charlotte, The Used). Upon hearing a handful of songs posted online, Feldmann promptly invited Mai to his studio in Los Angeles. It was here that the band channeled every ounce of energy into their spirited, melodic, full-length album entitled “Drift” In the Studio, Olivine showcases classic songwriting, fresh new hooks, and an undeniable earthy charisma. Live, the band thrives on thundering high energy rock sets that are complemented by their ability to deliver a breathtaking, intimate acoustic performance. This summer, the band is providing original music for a Feature Length Documentary entitled “Chasing the Bull” and the title song for “Swat School”, an upcoming Reality Pilot.
