Album
First album by Austrian symphonic metal band Hollenthon, released in 1999. The album name is Latin for "Home Worlds" (or, less likely to be the intended meaning, "Home of the World"), and all subtitles are also Latin. Translations of subtitles, along with added apices, followed by notes on the preceding (again where applicable): 1. Hinc illae lacrimae: Hence those tears. 2. Magnī nōminis umbra: Shadow of the great name. 3. Nōn omnis moriar: Not all of me will die. 4. Pallida mors: Pale death. 5. Ultima ratiō rēgum: Last argument of kings. 6. Malīs avibus: Under evil auspices. 7. Lēx tāliōnis: The law of retaliation. 8. Vīta nova: New life. Notes: 1. Hollenthon's title has the first two words in the genitive case, with the last in the nominative (i.e. sujbect). 3. Title of a poetical testament from Horace, the oldest known example of the genre. Figuratively, it means "My work will live on after I die." Sometimes it is found translated less literally as "Not everything dies" (thoug
