A collection of remnants from an aborted album called "Remove The Cancer". Pieces were saved from the dirtpile from that and a few new items were written to compliment them. Some songs are clearly unfinished such as the aptly titled "I Quit", others are clearly the finished article although with perhaps rough edges caused by a hurried mixing session. All in all, despite the nature of it's origins, it is a cohesive album that seems to hold it's own amongst contemporary homemade collections. Officially this is the first Demis CousCous album, although if you know where to look you can find a couple that precede it, not least of which is the awesome The Debasement Tapes.
