"The product of two days of jam sessions with five other talented musicians over at Santa Fe Studios, Reno, NV and mastered by Blake Beeman at the new Byrd House Studios. The quality of the jam, Panda believed strongly, exceeded all of our expectations and brought forth ten well interpreted originals. Also, he has added on three more songs (from a live solo performance). Joining creative forces with the other musicians was not only a fantastic treat; it also provided many wonderful opportunities for learning and evolving." This work merits attention for its thoughtful approach to collaborative creation. Rather than imposing a predetermined vision, the album emerges organically from intensive jam sessions, allowing six musicians to discover compositional possibilities together. The resulting ten originals demonstrate how spontaneous interaction can yield cohesive, well-developed pieces—a process that counters the isolation of solo production. The addition of three live solo performances creates an interesting textural contrast, revealing different dimensions of the material. The album's value lies not merely in technical mastery but in documenting genuine creative dialogue: a snapshot of musicians genuinely learning from one another, allowing ideas to evolve through conversation rather than constraint.
