Album
Recorded in 2001, Dividing Blue from Blue was the first full-length Woke Up Falling Album. About half of the album was older material, and half was new material. Laughing at the Thought, PS (Pakistani Sideswipe), New Action, and Here After all featured the current lineup of this band at the time. The other tracks are the older and feature Sean on drums. They were recorded separately and mixed into the album in post-production. WUF followed this album up with a tour in September that took them from Seattle to Yellowstone Park, to Mt. Rushmore, to New Mexico, to San Diego. Woke up Falling was kicked out of Mt. Rushmore park the morning of September 11, 2001 because of a 'national security threat'. They thought it was because they were a band snoozing in the parking lot. They played that night in Pierre, SD in a grange hall. The band at the time consisted of Gordie (vox, guitar, beard), Zak (guitar, stage antics), Shane (bass, horn-rimmed glasses), and Cedric (drums, purple hair).
