Soul Destroyaz is a side project of Cisco Ferreira and Colin McBean also known as the Advent, it has a darker and more ambient sound to it than the normally completely stripped and raw sound of the Advent. The first album entitled Destroyed took those minimal sounds and deconstructed them even more while adding layers of syncopation to the percussion creating what on the surface sounded much like the Advent, but when digging deeper was a radical and creative departure from a scene that was become increasingly more monotone.
