Wakiya Records is proud to offer this latest release by "Thunderhands." This recording is as the title says, "full of spirits." The percussion has an eastern flavor and is very spirited, while the Flute Playing although decisively Native American, has Latin and Jazz overtones. If that wasn't enough, some of the tracks have sounds of nature incorporated into the background, which lends for a relaxing meditative atmosphere. But this too is unique, in that claps of thunder will come out of nowhere, like a Zen master smacking his student with a stick to bring an awakening. Track three "Spirits of Turkey Creek" incorporates a flowing creek with Native American Chants. The whole thing has the feel of the desert. You can't go wrong with this one. It's very healing.
