Album
"Delta Machine" is the thirteenth studio album by the English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 22 March 2013 by Columbia and Mute Records. It is the band's first album to be released under Columbia. The album was recorded in 2012 in Santa Barbara, California, and New York City, with production by Ben Hillier and mixing by Flood, who had previously collaborated with the band on the albums "Violator" (1990) and "Songs of Faith and Devotion" (1993). A deluxe edition of the album was also released, featuring a bonus disc containing four additional tracks and a 28-page hardcover book with photographs by Anton Corbijn. The lead single from the album, "Heaven", was released on 31 January 2013. This was followed by the release of the second single, "Soothe My Soul", on 10 May 2013, and the third single, "Should Be Higher", on 11 October 2013. To support the album, Depeche Mode launched the Delta Machine Tour, which began in Nice, France, on 4 May 2013 and concluded in Moscow on 7 March 2014.
