They say when you have all the right ingredients together and mix and cook them all in the right way, you tend to windup with something Delicious. Such is the case with Kirsten Thien's Sultry and Sexy release, tastefully named, "Delicious". "Delicious" marks the 3rd release for this Award Winning Songwriter, who received the Abe Olman Award for Excellence in Songwriting in 2009, which after hearing this Album, you will certainly know why. "Delicious" consists of 13 Tracks, 8 of which were written or co-written by Kirsten. Her co-writers on this Album were Eric Boyd, Noel Cohen, and Galia Arad. "Delicious" also contains 3 absolutely fabulous Covers, "Taxi Love" (Charlie Feldman/Jon Tiven), "Wild Women Don't Have the Blues" (Ida Cox), "I Ain't Superstitious" (Willie Dixon) and 2 Tracks of which she does as the Radio Edit, "Treat 'im Like a Man"/"Taxi Love". Also on the Album I received was a DVD video of "Wild Women Don't Have the Blues" with guest performer Billy Gibson. "Delicious" starts off pretty hot n heavy and if you are not careful you may begin feeling like a bit of a voyeur, especially when listening to her steamy vocals on the Track "Taxi Love", a song about a man a woman and a taxi, I am sure you get the picture. This song hits us hot off the heels of the previous Track "Please Drive" featuring Hubert Sumlin letting loose on Guitar and Vocals, as Kirsten shows us how temptuous young ladies can be. Besides the soulful/jazzy feeling Thien brings to "Delicious", there
