DEEPER THAN THE SEA, produced by Red Broad, features guest vocals and collaborations from Bajka (Bonobo, Beanfield, Sola Rosa), Soul Sista Shakti (Monodeluxe, Aandra, Audio Jazz) and Margo Rey who also featured on Evolve's debut release HAPPY HOUR IN THE GENE POOL. DEEPER THAN THE SEA follows on from where HAPPY HOUR IN THE GENE POOL left off, continuing the rich pallet of downtempo beats, chilled out grooves and sultry vocals. The album contains twelve original tracks, four vocal and eight instrumental. The overall vibe is a luxurious mix of chilled out downtempo ranging from light vocal to deeper dubs, glitch and experimental electronica musings. Electric pianos abound and the use of flugal horn and muted trumpet adds an element of cool jazz into the mix, creating a truly eclectic listening experience.
