Dedalogica is the avant-jazz band in which Antonio Siniscalchi plays. The cd was issued in 2008 by Zeit Interference/Lizard Records label. It got excellent reviews by several paper or web magazines such as Musica Jazz, Wonderous Stories, Mucchio Selvaggio, Rockerilla, Movimenti Prog, Mondo Agricolo. Dedalogica was also one of the best five cds in the international contest Premio Toast per il MEI 2008. All tracks are improvised except for a very few structured pieces. They are jazz oriented with a careful focus on discipline, and very far from mainstream jazz. Music they mainly listen to is contemporary classic, jazz, progressive rock and some blues. Some favourite artists are Coltrane, Parker, Gentle Giant, Mario Cesa, Olivier Messiaen. All the recordings are live in studio. Members are: Nico Cillo, doctor, born 1963 plays keyboard and keyboard bass and drum programming. Loris Flora, doctor, born 1960 plays soprano, alto and tenor saxophones. Antonio Siniscalchi, teacher, born 1958, plays keyboard, sampler, computer programming, pipes, jew's arp, occasional drums, voice and some bass and drums programming.
