For the past 5 year since the initial release of Good Old Fashioned Death, Reigndear have consistently been releasing albums on dates with coinciding identical numbers. In the Good Old Fashioned Campaign, each album, or collection premiered on a symmetrical date, for example: Good Old Fashioned Death (7/7/7); Good Old Fashioned Birth (8/8/8); Good Old Fashioned Life Afterbirth (9/9/9); Good Old Fashioned Life (10/10/10); as well as the limited edition 3 EP collection, Good Old Fashioned Death Birth & Life (11/11/11) β and this has sparked much debate as to β why? The initial release of the 3 Good Old Fashioned Albums, contained 8 songs each; and the 3 EP's released in 2011, contained 6 songs respectively. In fact the only releases put forward, by the band, that didn't contain a 'fully' symmetrical dating; were the 3 singles ROYALTIES; WEE EMBERS; and SLEIGHBELLS which were all released on the 1/1/12, and yet, they each, contain 3 tracks. And, this year will be exactly the same for Reigndear, with the release of DEATH BIRTH LIFE, the currently set 11 song record, which is intended to be the flagship disc of the Good Old Fashioned Campaign β the tip of the iceberg so to speak β and the only disc of the campaign that will be found available commercially. Many have speculated as to what exactly the final album will be? The band however will offer no real comment as to why they released the albums on such dates, and instead turn to talking about music and philosophy. "DE
