It was released in three editions: a limited CD+DVD edition, an anime edition including also a bonus DVD with creditless opening footage of Sword Art Online and a different CD tracklist, and a regular CD only edition. The title track was used as the opening theme song for the anime Sword Art Online. The single reached #5 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 24 weeks, selling 88,444 copies, becoming her best selling single to date.
