October Sun was a British psychedelic/alternative/acoustic/rock band formed in 2002. Primarily made up of Singer /songwriter Mal Fry ex Bible drummer Dave Larcombe and legendary bass player and producer David Tiplady. They released several home-made demos between the years 2002 - 2006, and played a small amount of gigs. The demo’s were eventually made into an album “Close your eyes and count to five ” releaded in 2007 with one track ” as the teardrop explodes ” getting radio airplay and being chosen for a 5000 store worldwide campiagn for pureplay music The band folded in 2008 but Mal is still going as a solo artist having released another 2 albums “Never too late ” and ” Time to take a Chance “.
