Clockwork Dreams is the first CD to be released by the Deadly Nightshade Botanical Society. The final tracks were recorded in August of 08 and the CD itself went into production a short time later. The key members to work on this CD were Robert Hazelton (composition, guitar and vocals), Kryzstof Nemeth (bass and some arrangement), Erica Roberts (vocals) and Shawn McGoldrick (bass). The lyrics of Clockwork Dreams follows a loose theme of monsters and the monstrous. The title track lyrics for 'Clockwork Dream' (written by Erica Roberts) discusses a clockwork doll left on the floor of her creator and ignored for better endeavors while Legacy (lyrics by Robert Hazelton) are a first person perspective of Dr. Frankenstein discussing his motivations and objectives.
