Cheryl Ladd's debut self-titled album, released in 1978 by Capitol Records, showcased her musical talent alongside her role on the popular TV show Charlie's Angels. The album achieved moderate success in the United States and was particularly popular in Japan, where her single "Think It Over" reached #2 on the Japanese charts. The album features a mix of pop and rock tracks, led by "Think It Over," written by Brenda and Brian Russell. Other notable songs include the cover of “Walking in the Rain” by the legendary songwriting team Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, and Phil Spector, and "Good Good Lovin'," also penned by Mann and Weil. Ladd collaborated with several prominent musicians, including Paulinho da Costa on percussion, and backing vocals from Kiki Dee, Brenda Russell, and Eric Mercury. The production was led by Gary Klein, and mastering was done by Mike Reese at The Mastering Lab.
