Chasing Heaven is the first full length album of songs written by singer/songwriter Nathan Fox. In March of 2005 Nathan began to assemble a band with long time friend Graycon Legere. The two charismatic characters met in March of 2001 when then bass player Nathan Fox was hired to join Drummer Gracyon Legere in holding down the rhythm section for Singer/Songwriter Garen Guyekian's New York City based band called "Granian". In Jan 2003 after nearly two years of heavy touring throughout the US, Nate left the band to attend The Berklee College of Music where he would learn to read and write music. That didn't last long... After 3 semesters he dropped out of school, drove to NY, and unveiled his songs to the astute ears of Graycon. Once the master drummer was on board, they headed to Nathan's home town in San Diego and began the search for a bass player... On a beautiful summer morning in sunny San Diego Nate and Gray geared up to hold another audition. After hearing a knock at the door, they opened it. Carlos Marin Jr. stood at the door with a beaming smile, and a sure confidence. When the three began to play together, they all knew it was right. The power trio started to perform within a couple of weeks while continuing to solidify material for a record. After six weeks of intense rehearsal and performances, Nathan contacted a friend and former classmate from Berklee named Phil Gorey.
