“Change” is the second single off That Woman’s debut album Find Joy, released on May 31, 2024. In an Instagram post, That Woman wrote: “It's a song I wrote whilst deliberating my relationship with the idea of motherhood. The collision of maternal identity and artistic greatness has always plagued me - how can my dreams and motherhood co-exist? Should I want them to co-exist? What kind of woman would I be if I didn't want children? And if I do have a child is it wrong to want to put my art, my self, my life as I know it, first? I am utterly and desperately in love with creating. Music nourishes me more than anything and anyone else in the whole world. Every time I make a song that moves me I feel like I am birthing.
