about this album

Chang’s eponymous album is a collection of all the tracks they recorded in two sessions between 2001 and 2002. Some of these tracks were also recorded again for the Adam Walton show on BBC Radio Wales. Each session was released as a demo and received very positive reviews in the rock press: Organ: Chang are right now one of the finest bands in the land, they're like dancing on the pointy tops of the sugar cane trees where the spaghetti grows towards the sun. Rock Sound: Forget everything else that's coming out of Wales right now, 'cause the best band to come out of the Valleys in aeons is right here, right now, and you'd better be ready to be frightened. Cop-Out: Amazingly it all works beautifully, yielding small-but-perfectly-formed three minute nuggets of cartoonish power punk.
