JOYFUL - CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE "In 2000, the fellas (Ernest, Alfred, Mike & Mr. Vee) began working on this project with hopes that it could be released the following year. As fate would have it, more than 4 years passed before they could complete it. Life got in the way: band members relocated, Bin Laden did his thing, and sickness even claimed a few key people who were working on the project (most notably, "BIG MIKE" Robinson." It was suggested from the beginning that the project be titled 'CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE," because so many radio jocks were confused by the variety of styles that JOYFUL uses when they record a CD. This project, in particular, consists not only good, ole fashioned gospel music, but also jazz and r&b, a little bit of hop and other rhythmic elements.
