Ugly Thrash Demon's highly anticipated second release is entitled, "Built Up to Let Down" Although only five tracks, the EP is filled with wonder and joy that will take the listener to new heights. Similar to the sound of legends Belle & Sebastian, UTD follows suit. Using instrumentation such as strings, brass, and other various folk sounds to create a conglomeration of beauty. Despite the overwhelming amount of folk type bands on the scene currently, Ugly Thrash Demon somehow has formed their own niche and claimed a piece of the pie that has not yet been discovered. Their music is familiar and yet unique. These obviously talented young men are slowly showing the world their true potential. The production values of this record are far superior to that of their first release and it truly shows.
