Brutal Jooks debut "Believer", released 2/25/12, is new American underground rock and roll, with a gritty garage rock feel, bluesy overtones, and punk swagger. If you like artists like The Black Keys, Jack White, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Hanni El Khatib you may like Brutal Jooks. The songs feature plenty of greasy slide guitar, stomping beats, and overdriven vocals. The songs are all short and raw and go straight to the point with hooky riffs and choruses. Band leader and songwriter Greg Reeves has worked with artists like The Dead Kennedys, Hanni El Khatib, Her Space Holiday, and others, and has created rock and punk music for Fuel TV, and the theme for A&E's "BIlly the Exterminator".
