International photographer, Fran May produced her debut album called 'Brave On Lady' in September 2008. Fran wanted to create a new art project to express emotions and feelings that could not be represented in images following the death of her husband through cancer. Fran is of the rock generation and has rock sensibilities. Her music attracts the 38-60+ age group who can relate to lyrics written by someone who has experienced a bit of life. The songs are new for this generation, not re-issues and concern the thrill of traveling the world, having adventures, relationships, children, divorce and the pain of the death of a lover. The other principle performer on the album is Richard Newman- virtuoso guitarist, who agreed to play lead guitar as a guest on the album. The songs are principally the relationship between Fran's voice and the extraordinary guitar playing by Richard Newman. The sounds represent simmering power and emotion.
