Bone Circus was formed in the late 80's in Dallas, TX by Johnny "Bone" Young, and consisted of several lineups throughout the 90's. Bone Circus bucked the cover band trend in the Dallas clubs and began playing all-original music. They caught the ear of "Mad" Max Hammer, afternoon disc jockey on then-nationwide Z-ROCK satellite radio, who began to manage the band and play them regularly on his afternoon show. The band's local popularity began to grow exponentially as a result of the heavy airplay. Bone Circus' reputation as a hard-rocking, hard-drinking band that never shied away from trouble only grew over time. Larger-scale shows began to get offered to the band, among them opening slots for Danzig, Circus of Power and Manowar. They also toured briefly with Shock Tu, where they played the famed Alrosa Ballroom in Ohio. The tracks available are from early recording sessions by a third incarnation of the band, and are standouts from their library. The band still plays shows to this day with a lineup consisting of Johnny Bone, John Webb, Raz and Chris Gilbreath (author of this wiki).
