A compilation album of tracks recorded during tree sessions in 1953 (May) and 1954 (March, April) by Miles Davis for Prestige Records (PRLP 7054, 1956). The album is a reissue of the 10" LP Miles Davis Quartet (PRLP 161). After the 10" LP format was discontinued, all seven tracks were included on Blue Haze with another track – I'll Remember April – added.
