“Blue Banisters” is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey. It was released on October 22, 2021 as the follow-up to her seventh studio album “Chemtrails Over The Country Club” (2021), and was published through Interscope and Polydor Records. The album was produced by Del Rey, Zachary Dawes, Loren Humphrey, Mike Dean, Barrie-James O'Neill, and Rick Nowels. The album artwork that includes 2 alternate covers includes photos shot by previous collaborator, Neil Krug. It was preceded by four songs: Wildflower Wildfire, Text Book, Blue Banisters and Arcadia , and is composed of 15 different tracks. The album contains a handful of unreleased tracks from previous records, namely Nectar of the Gods (fka Color Blue/Wild on You), Living Legend, and Cherry Blossom. Thunder and Dealer were made in collaboration with The Last Shadow Puppets. “Blue Banisters” is seen as a folk, pop, jazz, and americana record. People also associate this as a “break-up” album.
