Blazing Son is a concept album about a typical day in the fantasy world of the virtual band "The Four Sons" (the album starts with the "introduction" of the blazing sun and ends with the day ending at sunset) The Four Sons spend the day ridiculing political activists (Mr Frost), and having semi-philosophical discussions a wide range of topics (If There Is A Day, Electric Light) A secondary concept is the Blazing "Sun" - ie the album itself - as a "living" piece of art. Many of the lyrics actually describe what is happening musically, rather than the stories (Mary Goes Round) or religion/philosophy (Revelation Dream) they appear to be about on the surface. The virtual band consists of: Scarecrow Jester Pumpkinhead Backbeat (the robot - is not mentioned outright on the album, as the other three are, but is implied in the use of "distorted" vocals throughout the record) User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
