Blacksand is Spiralmountain's debut album. It was released March 16th, 2011. Erik says that the album is influenced from his struggle of losing his father to leukemia in 2004 and later dedicated the album to him. Also the album is a concept album of the loss of a loved one, certain emotions you feel after and the eventual step to recovery.
