A mysterious, beautiful and evocative 4 track release from Irish enigma Niamh de Barra. Her style melds club music and folk influences seamlessly. Electronics and acoustic instrumentation mix with layered vocals, featuring abstract lyrics that seem to speak of the supernatural as well human issues and the wilds of nature. We first found out about her at the Rathlin Island festival over in Ireland. She put on a stunning live show of singing, cello playing, live looping and machine tweaking, complete with universal grooving of the very appreciative crowd.
